Photography and Videography Policy

The Northwest Association for Global Affairs (NWA), parent nonprofit of Northwest Model United Nations, has designated representatives to photograph and take video during the conference. Unless we receive a written request from you to not use your voice or likeness prior to the conference, we will assume that your presence is consent for use of photography, audio recording, video recording and its/their release, publication, exhibition, or reproduction to be used for news, promotional purposes, inclusion on websites, or any other purpose by NWA. You release NWA, its officers and employees, and each and all persons involved from any liability connected with the taking, recording, digitizing, or publication of interviews, photographs, computer images, video and/or or sound recordings. Specific names of individuals within the photographs or video will be used only if prior permission is granted. Potential publicity use of the photos and/or videos includes Facebook, Flickr, YouTube, the conference website, etc. NWA will not sell or accept compensation for photographs or videos of the conference.

In the event we do receive a written request to not use your voice or likeness, NWA will communicate this request to our designated representatives, who will make good faith efforts to avoid photography or videography.

By entering the event premises, you waive all rights you may have to any claims for payment or royalties in connection with any exhibition, streaming, web casting, televising, or other publication of these materials, regardless of the purpose or sponsoring of such exhibiting, broadcasting, web casting, or other publication, irrespective of whether a fee for admission or sponsorship is charged. You also waive any right to inspect or approve any photo, video, or audio recording taken by NWA or the person or entity designated by the NWA.

Should you have any questions or concerns regarding this policy, please contact the Secretary-General of the conference.
